OUR APPROACH

Akselos deployed its Structural Performance Management software for the Bonga FPSO, using a structural twin to integrate inspection data and operational inputs to model fatigue behavior across 15,000 measurement locations. The twin enabled identification of 230 critical fatigue hotspots.

With validated structural insight, Shell optimized inspection and maintenance routines and implemented an automated workflow integrating sensors and metocean data. The result was a 33% OPEX reduction and extended asset life with Lloyd’s Register validation.
