From the outset, Akselos collaborated with global energy leaders like Shell, brought together through the MIT Industrial Liaison Program. The question on the table would define the future of the industry: how can operators safely manage the world’s most critical infrastructure, while maximising its performance and extending its lifespan?
Operators can see process conditions — temperature, pressure, flow, cycles. What they cannot see is how those conditions affect the way their assets actually behave. That gap between what operators do and how infrastructure responds is where risk accumulates. It is also where value is hidden.
We envisioned a future where operators could unlock that value with confidence — reducing capital expenditure (CAPEX), lowering operational costs (OPEX), and increasing output, all while maintaining the highest safety standards. That vision is now a reality.
