OUR APPROACH

Akselos built a structural twin of the coker drum to analyze thermal cycling, stress evolution, and fatigue behavior under real operating conditions. The model provided near real-time insight into how operational intensity impacted structural degradation.

With quantified fatigue damage and validated structural limits, the operator could adjust throughput strategies safely through Akselos SPM Dashboards. This enabled higher production while optimizing inspection planning and extending asset life within API 579-1 compliant frameworks.
