AVAILABLE FEATURES IN VERSION 2024.04

VIEW ALL FEATURES

Procedure to change cross-section during design

The cross-section modification procedure has been updated with a more user-friendly experience.

Extract external total load

The element’s external total load can be exported from the solution e.g. lateral pressure.

Extract internal forces/moments

This feature enables users to extract internal loads of the structure and visualize these in UI. Then, leverage the visualizations to identify critical time steps for strength analysis.

Extract stress independent of the mesh

Users can manually specify the coordinates of the stress reading location to perform fatigue analysis, for added control beyond selecting coordinates from the user interface.

Ansys mesh importer

Mesh and material properties can be imported from Ansys to Akselos using the Nastran format (shell elements).

Buckling Check update and verification spreadsheet

The Buckling Check now takes the lateral pressure into account. A new verification spreadsheet is now available to verify changes for different panel types.
