Akselos was established to apply the latest developments in computer-aided engineering and big data analytics to asset management, to help protect and maintain the large scale assets that are so central to our lives.
Combined with sensors and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), our physics-based Digital Twins become something even more exciting; a Digital Guardian.
A Digital Guardian is an exact virtual replica of an asset in its current environment, which allows operators real-time access to its condition from anywhere at any time. It’s a virtual nervous system that will tell engineers what’s happening to the structure, and more importantly what will happen in the future. It will allow owners and operators of infrastructure all over the world to manage safer and smarter assets.
Until the technology breakthrough in 2011, the concept of a Digital Guardian was science fiction. Now that the technology exists, we will collaborate with organizations globally to back the concept up with data, and bring asset management into the future.
